Three of our children were homeless when  their "stay at home" Mom went to the hospital to deliver her last  children.  They came to us when the baby was 5 weeks old with a four  year old brother and 5 year old sister. 

Mom was living with the 3  children in her car because when she went to deliver the baby, the  authorities noticed so many bruises on her they immediately went to arrest  the father of the children and he was incarcerated for 2 years.  When  Mom got out, she had no means of support and was evicted from their  apartment and had no other way to keep her children together until she heard  about TLC Children's Home.

 She immediately signed up her children,  found a home with a friend for herself, got a job, kept her vehicle, got an  apartment and day care assistance and within 6 months was able to take her children back.
